1. My struggle while making a budget was trying to find good quality foods that would be cheap enough to stay with in my budget. It was hard finding good deals and special sales that allowed me to spend more money on great items.

2. A budget is an excellent idea for when you are going shopping. This project is based on how we are going to live when we are in college. A budget helps us stay within our limits and gives us the ability to know what to buy and not to buy at that specific time. When i reach college and start to live on my own i will definitely create a budget sheet because it helps me balance my money.

3. I really never knew how much food really was. Obviously food is neccesary in everyday life but when i get old i need to realize i must set money aside every month to buy food that i need. Its a very expensive chore and people tend to overlook it but there has to be enough money for food or else we won’t be able to live happily. All the luxuries in life are good but the necessities are most important.

4. I enjoyed this project because as i said before this can really benefit me when i get older and have this kind of responsibility. It is a great idea to make a budget sheet and know how much money i would be able to spend while going food shopping.

Michael Jordan was the African American i chose to write about. He is extremely inspiring to me. The thing that surprised me the most about Jordan is that he was cut from his high school basketball team. The greatest basketball player of all time was cut and that gives me hopes that when i fail or when people criticize me i will just think of Jordan and know if i work hard and try my best i can succeed. I also admire the achievements he has won such as multiple MVP awards and also three national championships. Jordan always came through in clutch times and that is what makes him the best. The last reason why i chose Jordan was because of his great business skills. Not only was he a great play but also a great business man.This is why i have chosen to write about Michael Jordan.

Rutgers University- this a great choice for me. Im trying to look for a college under 30,000 dollars. I enjoy a bigger atmosphere and it also has the major i want to look into. Rutgers would be a perfect choice for me.

New York University- this is my dream college.  It has a great program for what i want to major in. I’d also like being in the city. It is too expensive so its a stretch for me but it is my dream college.

Fairfield University- this is my backup college im confident i have the credentials to get in. It has a good program for my major and it is in a nice enviroment. This is my last resort if i can not get into to any other of my choices.

This recent youtube video i have watched described how the internet has basically taken over my generation. People spend so much time on the internet looking at video, going on facebook, and even watching tv shows. People meet over the internet and they communicate as well. This generation uses cell phones to access the internet and twitter about what there are doing at that specific time. It is crazy all the unbelievable things that are at your fingertips when you go on the internet. There is so much to do. Schools even have discovered to give work through the internet because studies show that kids now a days soak in more information through videos rather then the conventional way of teacher. The web is not just a trend. As the years go on it will take over everything we do and if there is anything you want to do the web will definetetly have it. No one knows if this change is going to be good or really bad.

In California, this couple has 4 sons and have been together for 8 years but wants one more thing in their relationships and that is to be officially married.  Kristin Perry and Sandra Stier’s partnership has taken national spotlight because of the huge argument on same sex marriage. A trial will be coming soon that wants to ban same sex marriage. Another couple Jeffrey Zarillo and Paul Katami are also at the head of this case arguing that this banning of marriage is horrible and unconstitutional. This case will definitely make its way to the U.S Supreme court no matter what the outcome is. This will shape society for many years to come. This can possibly be the Supreme Courts biggest case in a very long time.

On Tuesday, Obama talk to the media about his War Plan. He told the press that sending 30,000 troops to Afganistan is part of a strategy to reverse the Taliban’s momentum and make the government stabile. Obama also said that our forces are lacking full support to train with the Afgan security. There is no real threat of the Government being overthrown and the extra troops will help the Afgan soldiers learn how to take care of their country so our troops can be withdrawed sooner. Obama has a goal of withdrawing most of the troops by the end of his presidency in 2013.

My mom is one of the most important people in my life. She is always there for me no matter what. If i have a problem she will listen to me and talk to me about it. My mom  keeps me and my sister under control and teaches us right from wrong.  My mom teaches how to treat people right and respect everyone no matter what.

My dad has a great impact in my life. I dont see him as much as i would like but i talk to him every night on the phone and we talk sports for hours. He comes to all my games and teaches me to play sports and compete the right way. What ever i need he never hesitates to go out of his way and give it to me. I know my mom and dad sacrifice so much for me.

My sister is like my best friend. We get a long really well and tell each other everything. Sometimes we have some crazy twin moments and we know what each other is going to say before we say it. I love my sister and I’d do anything for her. She’s always got my back and i know can go to her for advice all the time.

8. Word is good because it is my efficient and easy to use. There are many shortcuts and tools that are easy to find and access through visual aid.

9. Tables are good if you want to make some type of project where you need to compare facts.

10. Graphics are helpful because you can put pictures onto your word document. Illustrations have examples of graphics.

11. Mail merge is something useful for printing a document multiple times to multiple people.

12. Restrict on how people can acess your document.

13. It has changed because times are changing and other competition is trying to compete with word. This is more up to date and efficient with more tools and visual aids. It helps someone navigate and Word needed to compete with their competition.
