Michael Jordan was the African American i chose to write about. He is extremely inspiring to me. The thing that surprised me the most about Jordan is that he was cut from his high school basketball team. The greatest basketball player of all time was cut and that gives me hopes that when i fail or when people criticize me i will just think of Jordan and know if i work hard and try my best i can succeed. I also admire the achievements he has won such as multiple MVP awards and also three national championships. Jordan always came through in clutch times and that is what makes him the best. The last reason why i chose Jordan was because of his great business skills. Not only was he a great play but also a great business man.This is why i have chosen to write about Michael Jordan.
